The campus is a newly built campus with an advanced campus network. The entire network architecture adopts the three-layer structure model of core layer, convergence layer and access layer. The transmission medium in the building includes both five types of twisted pair and multi-mode optical fiber. The backbone network bandwidth of 1000M and 100M is exchanged to the desktop. The campus network covers a wide range of areas, including teaching buildings, various test buildings, libraries, administrative buildings, conference centers, dining halls and other areas.
The whole campus video monitoring can be implemented smoothly without changing the overall architecture of the existing campus network, and it will not cause excessive load on the network and burden on network administrators. In the concrete implementation of this scheme, the existing network architecture and network load are comprehensively considered, and its feasibility is as follows: 1. Select the optimal network access point according to the principle of proximity at the point where video monitoring equipment is to be deployed. 2. 2. In consideration of the particularity of dormitory network and teaching office network, select the convergence layer switch access nearby when deploying monitoring equipment in dormitory area; Select the nearest access point when deploying monitoring equipment in the teaching office network. 3. The campus network has realized the network bandwidth from 100M to desktop, while the effective bandwidth of the data processing process of the monitoring equipment is 100K ~4M, which can be fully integrated into the existing network structure. 4. The whole scheme is based on IP network, making full use of the advantages of IP network and applying these advantages to the monitoring system.
